The MAMCA Software
Multi-Actor Multi-Criteria Analysis (MAMCA) is a decision-making model developed by prof. dr. Cathy Macharis to enable the simultaneous evaluation of alternative policy measures, scenarios, technologies, and so on. Frequently, organizations use decision-making models to make faster and better decisions.
However, the existing models for multi-criteria analysis do not offer the possibility of involving stakeholders during the whole decision-making process, even if they propose a collaborative platform at all. Within MAMCA, different stakeholders’ opinions are explicitly included at an early stage of the decision-making process.
With the MAMCA software, the different steps are easily followed and a clear visualization of the problem is generated.
Step 1
Generate alternatives

Step 2
Identify stakeholders and their criteria

Step 3
Let them give weights to the criteria

Step 4
Evaluation: score the alternatives on the criteria

Step 5
Analyze results
