The aim of the implementation is to test whether fill rates can be increased by unlocking spare capacity of service-driven companies to cost-efficiently supply P&G consumer goods to high-frequency stores (HFS) and reduce the generated impacts of distribution and shopping.
BAU | HFS owners supply themselves in regular supermarkets or wholesale markets or get supplied by distributors or wholesalers |
A1 | HFS owners order P&G products online. Deliveries are done by Febelco, a distributor of pharmaceutical products. Transport between P&G warehouse and Febeclo warehouse is done by a traditional transport operator. |
